General Education

Currently the Department of Web Marketing offers 3 courses for general education credits. Students may choose one or all of the programs below to satisfy requirements both in the Web Marketing major and other relevant programs.


Fundamentals of Web Marketing

WEBM 1001 | 3 Credit Hours

Fundamentals of Web Marketing introduces the ideas and foundational strategies that drive modern consumer-focused communication. In this course, you'll be working with classmates to identify and solve common web marketing problems.

History of Web Marketing

WEBM 1002 | 3 Credit Hours

This course covers the evolution of web-based marketing. From early intra-university networks to the modern Internet, web marketing has taken hundreds of forms. In this course you'll be studying the origins and key figures of some of the web's most prominent and notorious marketers.

Constructing a Web Campaign

WEBM 1010 | 3 Credit Hours
